Imports are one of the major reasons for foreign currency leaving a nation. With the boom of the Indian household has increased the demand for LPG as Indians can afford to eat more than ever before. The current trend of many Indian cities encouraging the automobile sector to switch from petrol to LPG to reduce pollution has only worsened the import scenario of LPG in India. 

As per India import data, India’s import capacity for Natural gases is increasing by 17.64% every year. With these current trends the import amount of natural gas will only be able to meet 82.44% of the domestic demand in the next 2 years.
